Energy’s research of the digital camera market resulted
in a discovery that there is a universal concern among
camera manufactures and the consumer, which is "how
can I extend battery life, or increase the number of
images that I can capture on a set of batteries". The
power required to efficiently operate a digital camera
exceeds the capabilities of an alkaline disposable
battery. Tests conducted by Harding’s engineers and
independent tests have proven this conclusion. These tests
indicate that a set of alkaline batteries will allow the
digital camera user to capture as few as 3, and as many as
80 images, depending upon the camera make and model. The
consumer is concerned about performance and economics.
Harding’s high capacity,
high power QUEST® batteries are an excellent solution to
this problem. These same tests performed using Harding’s
QUEST® batteries produced a minimum of 110 images and as
many as 400 on a single discharge. QUEST® batteries can
be recharged and discharged (cycled) a minimum of 500
times! As stated in Popular Photography, "this is
performance with a capital P", and the economics are
equally impressive.
